This listing is for an antique locket by Carter, Qvarnstrom & Remington (CQ&R). The locket is marked on the interior with a C&QR in a triangle. It also has the number 49 lightly etched on the inside.
It does not appear to have a gold content mark, but the back and part of the front of the case have a gold content that tests between 10k to 14k. Some portions on the front appear to show an underlayer beneath the gold, but when rubbed on a testing stone no sublayer was reached. The stones were also tested and do not appear to be diamonds.
The locket weighs about 10.12 grams.
The locket has some light wear from past use. It has a name inscribed on the back side. Please see photos.
