The Shure AD1=-G57 is a digital wireless bodypack transmitter that works within the 470 to 616 MHz UHF range and pairs with Shure Axient Digital receivers. It delivers clear, encrypted audio for stage performers, presenters, and instrumentalists who need freedom from cables without sacrificing sound quality.

The TA4M input accepts a lavalier microphone, a headset microphone, or an instrument cable, so one transmitter can cover dialogue, vocals, or direct instrument feeds. A performer in a musical theater production can clip it to a costume, a keynote speaker can place it on a belt, and a guitarist can tuck it on a strap, all while relying on the same secure link.

Three selectable RF output levels—2, 10, or 35 mW—let you balance battery life against coverage. At the highest setting, the transmitter reaches up to 330 feet in open space, which is helpful in large venues or outdoor events. AES 256-bit encryption keeps the signal private, an essential feature for corporate presentations and broadcast work.

Power options are flexible. Two AA batteries provide up to eight hours of operation, and the optional SB900A rechargeable pack extends runtime to about nine hours while reducing disposable battery use. A backlit LCD shows frequency, battery status, and gain settings at a glance, and infrared syncing makes setup with a compatible receiver quick and error-free. Automatic gain control evens out level changes when performers move or change microphones.

The housing is made from aluminum, which keeps the unit light and durable enough to handle daily load-ins, rehearsals, and tours. Whether you are building a multi-channel system for a touring production or adding one wireless channel to a conference room, this transmitter integrates smoothly into professional audio workflows.
